ISERV TECHNOLOGY GROUP ACQUIRES CUSTOMERS OF ANN ARBOR-BASED HTDCONNECT.COM

Move Boosts Statewide Reach of ITG’s Iserv ISP Operating Company

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – December 1, 2004 – The Iserv Technology Group (ITG) today announced it has acquired the customers of HTDConnect (www.htdconnect.com) from Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Online Technologies Corporation (OTC) (www.onlinetech.net).

The acquisition was done through ITG’s Iserv operating company, one of the largest independent ISPs (Internet Service Providers) in Michigan. Terms were not disclosed.

The agreement provides Iserv with HTDConnect’s dial-up customer-base, primarily covering Mid- and Southeast Michigan. Customers with questions are encouraged to contact Iserv customer service at 1.888.64.ISERV.

"We are pleased to welcome HTDConnect into the growing Iserv network,” said Victor Shepherd, chief executive officer of ITG. “We believe HTDConnect customers will feel at home with us and our approach to service and support. Moving forward, we expect to enhance their Internet experience by providing more choices for their online needs.”

As a result of the acquisition, HTDConnect customers will become part of the Iserv network and have access to cutting-edge products and services, as well as a comprehensive selection of flexible connectivity packages. The acquisition also gives Iserv (www.iserv.net) an expanded presence in Mid- and Southeast Michigan.

“Iserv is well-known as a first-rate, highly responsive Internet service provider, and we expect a seamless and very positive transition for our HTDConnect dial-up customers,” said Bob Palmerton of Online Technologies Corporation. “They will now have access to a wide range of connectivity products backed by outstanding support. With the sale of its residential ISP business to Iserv, OTC continues to sharpen its focus on delivering internet solutions to the small and medium sized business market in the Great Lakes region.”

The acquisition of HTDConnect is Iserv’s fourth transaction for 2004. In September 2004, Iserv acquired the customer base of Ionia, Mich.-based Ionia Internet, Inc. Earlier in the year, Iserv acquired the customers of Harrisville, Mich.-based Renegade Productions, Inc. and Scottville, Mich.-based 1010internet, LLC. Iserv’s network now surpasses 50,000 subscribers throughout Michigan.
